My career is built on helping business professionals, like you, stay fit and healthy on the road, helping you to lose fat and keep it off for the long term.

In my former working life I was a ‘Suit’, just like you.

I worked long hours, for a media conglomerate who would send me on regular assignments up and down the country, by plane, train and car. I would often fly abroad for meetings with agencies, and act as a Company representative at conventions and seminars.

I was away from home for several days at a time, staying in hotels by myself, eating out with colleagues and business acquaintances, moving from one meeting to the next, and wondering if I would ever find 5 minutes to just sit down and relax.

I tried to choose hotels for their fitness facilities, but more often than not I’d either find myself too short on time to make it to the gym for a proper workout, or I’d discover that the ‘gym’ was poorly equipped and not somewhere I wanted to spend any spare time I had.

Like you, I used to think I needed to spend an hour of my busy life on a treadmill, exercise bike or X-Trainer to make a difference, convinced that more was better, and that the more I sweated, the better the workout must have been.

After such marathon cardio workouts I’d usually be exhausted, struggling to keep my eyes open as I battled through another late business dinner. When a busy day got in the way, I’d end up skipping the workout and sit in my room instead, flicking through the TV channels, bored and tired, unable to find the desire or the motivation to use the hotel gym.

I occasionally tried a few exercises in my room, like push ups and crunches, but back then I didn’t have a proper plan to follow, nor did I realise that crunches did NOTHING for fitness or fat loss!

I was fed up with the way I looked and the way I felt, but I really didn’t think I had an alternative to the gym.

Since then, with 8 years hands-on experience, and close to 10,000 Personal Training sessions with clients just like you, I have carefully studied fellow travellers experiences and stories, as they take their working lives on the road. As a result, I know what works for business travellers.

I have made it my job to ensure that men and women like you no longer experience the same frustrations that I once did, but instead get great results without having to step foot in a hotel gym.

I hope you enjoy my articles, tips, exercise suggestions and general travel diary, as I try to make your business life a little less stressed and tiring.

Stay fit on the road!
